My Bucket List: And While We're In Texas..........

Galveston and Houston of course!

I've actually been to both while on a high school choir trip..........long ago.

I remember the beach, I remember shopping in the historic district and I remember visiting the Astrodome. 

It was a pretty cool place to visit and I really feel like I need to do it again.

On my agenda:

Moody Gardens which has an aquarium, rain forest, 3D Theatre, a paddle wheel boat cruise, a water park (if you're so inclined) and for $40 you can have a personal encounter with a penguin!

Haunted Mayfield Manor and a Ghost Tour of Galveston Island....cause that's exactly my kind of thing.

Houston Museum District which has 18 museums in a 1.5 mile radius including the Holocaust Museum.

Shopping in the Historic Strand District which currently holds 21 antique shops (heaven!!)

The Space Center Houston.  I mean come on---you can't visit Houston and not want to see the Historic Apollo Mission Control Center.

And of course.......the Beach!
